Stevens WaterBotics Summer Day Camps

2017 WaterBotics Summer Academy

for All Middle School Girls and Boys

This Academy is now full. Students who register today will be placed on a waiting list.

WaterBotics® is an innovative, underwater robotics program that challenges students to design, build, program, test, and redesign underwater robots made of LEGO® and other components. Have fun designing robots to solve real-world problems using science, engineering and technology.

Take Robotics to New Depths

Working through a series of four missions set in real-world contexts, students ultimately produce a fully functional underwater robot. Students learn about key science topics essential to their robot’s operation. They are also introduced to the engineering design process and learn to use graphics-based programming to control their robots.

Whether you are new to robotics or an experienced user, WaterBotics has something for everyone. No prior experience is necessary!

Spend a Week at the Scenic Campus of Stevens

The summer academy will be held on the campus of Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ where each day will start with exciting team activities before groups launch into building robots. Afternoons will be filled with team games, guest speakers, campus tours, and more.  Stevens is easily accessible by public transportation from all points in the New Jersey/New York City Metropolitan area.
